  • Overview

    The front desk staff supports the site team through exemplary customer service to our patients. The staff member organize and coordiate the patient intake and other appointments. Routes calls to appropriate personal. Schedules patients paying close attention to Physician Scope of Practice as well as insurance accepted by the specific provider. adheres to established protocols and work flow processes. Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with site team, has the ability to multitask and can manage high volume without compromising quality of care. Monitors stock and orders office supplies while maintaining invoices for office supplies. Ensures Company's policy, budget and secrutity requirements are met. Responsible for all Medical Record Organization and filing. This position works closely with Registration and insurance verification personnel.

    Responsibilities

    • Patients Appointment Scheduling
    • Organize office operations
    • Work with Registration
    • Prepare and organize patient charts and paperwork
    • Requisitions for office supplies and equipment
    • Maintain cleanliness of waiting room
    • Clerical duties such as reception, computer inputting, scanning, uploading, picture taking, writing of memos and photocopying
    • Complete miscellaneous duties as requested by Director and/or Nrse Manager

    Qualifications

    • High School Diplomia, with basic literacy and knowledge of medical terminology, supervisory, and/or office management experience
    • Greeting Patients in a polite, courteous manner. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with interactions with Physicians, administrators, staff, patients and visitors.
    • Excellent computer skills in EMR scheduler, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
    • Interpersonal skills: maintain positive work relationship
    • Communication Skills: able to convey ideas and information clearly
    • Time Management: able to organize work and use time effectively
    • Customer Service Skills: able to successfully manage customer experiences
    • Display a positive attitude and outlook
    • Flexibiliy: able to redirect day-to-day activities based on department/organization needs
