Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the clinical management of patients in the GTA and MTA of the Emergency Department.

Qualifications

Applicant must possess a current New York State License to practice as a Physician Assistant or a Nurse Practitioner. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required. The applicant must be a motivated individual to work with the ED physicians and other staff to provide efficient and effective services diagnosing and treating patients of all age groups. This position is responsible for wound repair, splinting, reduction of fractures/dislocations, interpretation of x-rays and laboratory reports, timely and appropriate documentation of clinical management.
