    The Creative Arts Therapist is responsible for providing high quality patient care, displaying good skills in assessment, treatment planning, group treatment and individual treatment. Additionally, he/she is responsible to function well as a member of the multidisciplinary team and participate in the unit community relations program. Follows the directions of the RN


    Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in recreational therapy and/or related fields, with appropriate experience.

    One year’s work experience with a mental health population, preferred.

    Licensed or Certified by state as required.

    Good overall interpersonal skills, ability to work productively and effectively, ability to function well as a member of a multidisciplinary team and the ability to represent the program well in interactions both inside and outside the hospital.
