Responsibilities

Performs leadership activities in accordance with the mission and vision of the organization and the philosophy of the Dialysis Department.  Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary management team to provide direction of activities and operation of the Dialysis Department.  The Nurse Manager ensures adequate staffing is maintained, provides direction to clinical and non clinical personnel and evaluates the outcomes of nursing care.

 

Qualifications

Professional knowledge of nursing theory, practice and administration acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree from an approved School of Nursing.

Current New York State license as a Registered Nurse.

More than six months on the job experience, including demonstration of progressive responsibilities in dialysis based management.
